Inferring Distributed Reflection Denial of Service Attacks from Darknet Space

I am a cyber security professional. I am currently heading the operation at Steppa Cyber, a Canadian-based cyber security organization. With more than 10 years experience in both industry and academia, I have worked on large-scale cyber projects for several federal agencies. I hold a certification in university teaching. Since 2010, I have been designing experimental and technical labs and providing education for more than 1000 undergraduate and graduate students. In 2013, I was awarded the FRQNT Quebec Government scholarship and received the Best Paper Award at the 12th IEEE International Symposium on Network Computing and Applications in Cambridge. I have published several research papers and 2 book chapters in international venues. I make a strong effort to meet new people and surround myself with industry and academic pioneers. I seek solutions and take actions through my affiliations, leadership and communication skills. In 2014, I was awarded the Acceleration and Committee Participation Awards, and received the Golden Key International Recognition. My research focuses on Cyber Security: Research & Development (R&D), Operations, Management, and Consultancy.
