Owen Bennett is a senior public policy manager at the Mozilla Corporation, the not-for-profit tech company and maker of the Firefox web browser. His professional expertise is policy and law surrounding European content regulation, but he also follows developments in European policy surrounding cybercrime, cybersecurity, and competition. Owen has been immersed in tech public policy for several years, both professionally and through academic pursuits. Prior to Mozilla, he worked as a consultant on tech policy for a variety of entities, and had some stints in communications and journalism. He holds an LL.M in Information Technology law from the University of Edinburgh, and a B.A (Hons) in Philosophy and Economics from Trinity College, the University of Dublin.
