About the author

Ahmad Alsadeh is assistant professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Birzeit University. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Engineering in Network Security from the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam in Germany in October 2013. Prior to that, he received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Tele-communication, and his master’s degree in Scientific Computing from Birzeit University in Palestine. Alsadeh’s main areas of research interest are network security, applied cryptography, computer security, and systems security. He published several papers regarding to cryptography, networks security, privacy and usability. Currently, Alsadeh is mainly teaching IT security courses for Master and Bachelor students at Birzeit University.
