On 29 December 2017, one of the largest Internet access providers in the south of Chile suffered a massive Internet outage. We used RIPEstat to measure the effect.

If RIPE is aware of the transfer to another RIR, it could use a DNAME to a new name under ARIN control, like: 122.193.in-addr.arpa. 86400 IN DNAME 122.193.in-addr.arin.net.
