About the author

Sasha is an independent developer and internet infrastructure specialist, with broad experience in software and standards fundamental to the internet, and other complex software systems. Sasha is the author and maintainer of IRRD, the routing registry daemon used by many of the major IRR registries worldwide. She is also the lead developer of Internet.nl on a freelance basis, a standards compliance testing platform run by the Dutch internet community and government, which runs around 9 million tests annually. Sasha regularly speaks at internet infrastructure and developer community events. She's also passionate about inclusive communities and technical events, and is actively involved in conference organising and community management for Write the Docs. Previously, she was a committer and conference organiser for the Django web framework.
