GRS Sources and the RIPE Database API

A while ago we announced the new Global Resource Service (GRS) for the RIPE Database. It allows you to query other Regional Internet Registry (RIR) databases and Routing Registry data using the RIPE Database interface. In this article we describe this service some more and show some examples.

A New RIPE Database Prototype

The RIPE NCC is improving the RIPE Database functionality and usability by introducing a trial of an improved service. With this new service it is easier for any user to see which of the data objects they’re looking at are maintained by the RIPE NCC or an Internet resource Holder.
