About the author

Vasileios Kotronis is the CTO and co-founder of Code BGP, a startup offering a real-time BGP security and observability platform. As a former Postdoctoral researcher, he has contributed to the ARTEMIS OSS (funded partly by RIPE Community Projects Fund) involving the real-time detection and mitigation of BGP hijacks. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich, from the former Communication Systems Group. His main professional interests include: Internet Routing, Software Defined Networking, Internet Measurements and Network Security and Engineering.
