The RIPE Diversity Task Force is looking for local network operator groups, hacker spaces, computer science students and other Internet-focused groups from the local area to take part and share local perspectives with the RIPE community.

The RIPE community will be calling Marseille home for five days next year. RIPE 76 takes place on 14-18 May 2018 at the Palais du Pharo. Upwards of 600+ people from all over the world will meet to share best practices, discuss the latest technical developments affecting the Internet, debate the merits of policy that affect network operations and more.

The RIPE Diversity Task Force is looking for local network operator groups, hacker spaces, computer science students and other Internet-focused groups from the area to take part and share local perspectives with the RIPE community.

There are several ways to engage with the RIPE Meeting:

  1. Submit a presentation to the RIPE Programme Committee for a plenary slot or lightning talk (accepting presentations in early 2018)
  2. Organise an informal Birds of a Feather (BoF) session
  3. Apply as a RIPE Fellow (accepting applications 16 January 2018)
  4. Apply as a RACI attendee (for academics and researchers – apply now)
  5. Participate in the Women in Tech lunch (more info coming soon)

The aim of the RIPE Diversity Task Force is to increase inclusion and diversity at the RIPE Meetings and the wider RIPE community.

Please send us an email, comment here, or tweet us (@RIPE_NCC) if you are interested in getting involved at RIPE 76!
